Does Jughead die in Riverdale season 4?

Season four of Riverdale debuted on The CW in the autumn of 2019, but it has just been released on Netflix, reigniting debate among both devoted fans and new viewers. The season features the exciting and spooky storylines that viewers have come to anticipate from the show, but frightening flashbacks at the end of several episodes hinted at Jughead Jones' unfortunate fate. The flash-forwards in "The Ides of March" episode begin to make sense after Betty kills Jughead by hitting him with a rock. Fans aren't sure if Jughead is indeed dead, or if there's something more sinister at play. What you should know is as follows.

What happened to Jughead in Riverdale?

Jughead was discovered to be alive and hiding in Dilton's subterranean bunker in episode 15, "To Die For," after the Stonewall Prep students attempted to kill him. For more time to investigate the motives behind the kids' desire to murder him, Archie, Betty, and Veronica made it appear as though he had passed away. It turns out that Mr. DuPont, the creator of the Baxter Brothers series, said that whoever killed Jughead would instead receive the contract after Jughead won the contest to write the Baxter Brothers mystery. Jughead is subsequently saved by Archie, Betty, and Veronica when Stonewall Prep students Donna and Bret failed to check his pulse to see if he was truly dead after hitting him with a rock. Jughead was used as bait to lure Forsythe, Jughead's off-the-grid grandfather, out of hiding so DuPont could kill him as well. It was later revealed that DuPont murdered every member of his literary circle when he was younger because they knew he had stolen the idea for the Baxter Brothers book series from Forsythe. DuPont jumps out the window and dies after all of this is made public and he is about to be jailed. When Riverdale's fifth season debuts in January 2021, there may be a time jump, which would put our favorite teenagers in their early thirties.
