F-35 fighters are grounded by the Pentagon until January following the Texas accident

Defense News stated that the Pentagon has grounded a number of more recent F-35 Joint Striker Fighters as a result of the recent Texas runway mishap. The F-35 Joint Program Office verified it when it released a directive after the incident. Some F-35s are grounded because they pose a larger risk, according to the statement. This will probably take until January. However, it was not stated how many F-35s are incapable of flying. The F-35B crash that occurred at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, earlier this month became well known. The majority of F-35s are made by Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, and the new F-35B hadn't been delivered to the US government when the disaster occurred. The fighter dives down, springs up, and leans forward. The fighter's right wing and nose struck the ground before spinning, causing the pilot to be ejected from the craft. The reason why the grounded F-35s are more vulnerable is unknown, but a person with knowledge of the programme claimed that the initial analysis identified a problem with the propulsion system, which led to the crash in Texas. The office also updated its safety risk assessments due to the failure of a tube that is used to transport high-pressure fuel in the fighter's F135 engine. Additionally, it is claimed that jets with fewer than 40 hours of flight time are also impacted. Additionally, it claimed on its website that it had given the US military and the program's partner nations more than 875 F-35s. The F-35 is the most technologically advanced multirole stealth fighter in the world, according to a statement from the manufacturer, and it is built with several safety features. Additionally, it stated that the F-35s are operating efficiently and with great safety records. The Joint Program Office in particular has addressed a number of challenges to guarantee the F-35's safety over the years. In addition to giving the JPO access to the data gathered during the F-35A engine failure in June, they include the release of the final report on the engine failure in the Air Force's F-35A. Additionally, the JPO took a number of steps to remedy the engine failure that led to the Air Force's F-35A catching fire earlier this year.
