Google Fiber just unveiled its new ambitions for 2023 after being established more than a decade ago with no additions.
According to a report from Engadget, Google Fiber recently declared that it would be enhancing its offers with 5Gbps and 8Gbps options in the first quarter of 2023. For between $125 and $150 a month.
Both will be equipped with a WiFi 6 router, up to two mesh network extenders, and symmetric upload and download rates. These modifications reduced jittering and latency when downloading large files to a minimum. Although it won't be available nationwide until 2023, Kansas City, Utah, and West Des Moines customers can already sign up for these plans as of November.
Customers must register in order to make a purchase, and Google will evaluate your registration to determine your eligibility.
Additionally, The Verge said that the business will also be requesting information from "trusted testers" outlining their expectations and reasons for using the additional bandwidth.
Amalia O'Sullivan, director of product management, said, "We're pleased to usher in the next-generation internet experience for Google Fiber users with the support of content partners and device manufacturers."
She continued by saying that Google intended to provide never-before-seen video quality, virtually real experiences, and faster gameplay. All of these are currently in development and are just around the corner.
According to Google Fiber's blog, the company's mission and dedication to providing fast and excellent internet to its users are in line.
