Google is also releasing the May 2023 update for the Pixel Watch in addition to the security patch for Pixel devices. Google said that even while the update is available now, it will roll out “over the next week in phases.” It doesn’t provide any noteworthy features, but it does give wearable users enhanced security. The build number for the Pixel Watch upgrade is RWDA.230114.013.
There truly aren’t any information, as stated on the Google Pixel Watch Help page, which also notes that “the May 2023 software update includes the latest security patches for Pixel Watch users.” Google has done a fantastic job of maintaining its watches and phones. Although new features and improvements would be preferred, we will probably see more of this at Google I/O 2023 in the coming month.
The update will come over-the-air automatically, but you can always check to see whether it’s available by going to the Settings menu, selecting System, and then System Updates. You’re fine to go if you press on here and an update starts downloading. Just be patient as the download may take some time. The Pixel Watch had its official debut in October of the same year after being first unveiled in May 2022 at Google I/O 2022.

Some are speculating about the possibility of a follow-up, but it has established itself as one of the best smartwatches of 2023. It’s difficult to predict whether Google will introduce a Pixel Watch 2 any time soon, but everything is possible.
