You might have trouble when you switch tabs by mistake while watching an interesting video. The video keeps playing in the background, even when a friend or coworker asks a question on Facebook or Slack. When you go back to the movie, you have to find where you left off.
The idea is that these videos will automatically pause when you need to switch tabs to do something else. Also, let's look at how to make a video buffer even when it's not playing. As usual, there's an app for that, and we'll be using two YouTube-specific ones. So let's look at each one in turn.
How To Use Smart Pause For Youtube
The Smart Pause extension is available for Chrome and Firefox. When you move to a different tab, the video automatically pauses. When you go back to the page, the video starts playing again. After you install and turn on the plugin, you will see a pause button near the YouTube player. If you want to auto-pause a video, just hit the pause button, and the extension will be turned on for that video.

The extension works perfectly, and you can set it up so that all the settings are turned on for all YouTube movies. But if you listen to a lot of music on YouTube, you might want to skip that choice. Besides that, there isn't much else to set up in the expansion.

How To Use Smart Video For Youtube
SmartVideo is another app that works with both Chrome and Firefox. It helps people with slow connections watch videos without having to wait for them to load. You can also choose the usual streaming quality for videos and set a video to play in a loop if you need to. When you move the mouse over the movie with the extension installed, you will see the settings. You can choose to force a movie to buffer here.

Click on Global Preferences to see all of the changes. Here, you can set the force buffering, auto loop, and video playback level. Videos that are linked on other websites have their own section, and videos that you watch on YouTube have their own section. Changes have to be made to both of them. HTML 5 videos have a few features that are still being tested, but when I first tried them, they worked great.
