The newest IPS-based gaming monitor from LG, the UltraGear 25GR75FG, has been unveiled. The UltraGear 25GR75FG, which has a 24.5-inch 1080p display, also offers a quick refresh rate, quick response times, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, among other features. The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2023 will be broadcast on the official display of LG's UltraGear 25GR75FG, a 24.5-inch IPS gaming monitor. LG asserts that the UltraGear 25GR75FG was developed based on feedback from Esports athletes, while it is unclear exactly what feedback was considered. LG created the UltraGear 25GR75FG specifically for competitive gaming, although it will eventually sell the display to consumers. The UltraGear 25GR75FG runs natively at 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 1 ms GtG response times, according to the company's press release. In addition, the monitor has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and 97% sRGB color space coverage, according to LG. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification requires that the UltraGear 25GR75FG meet a number of requirements, including genuine 8-bit image quality and at least 400 nits peak luminance, even though LG hasn't confirmed its own brightness specs. LG lists the 360 Hz refresh rate of the UltraGear 25GR75FG as one of the monitor's selling advantages. Along with an adjustable stand that can be swiveled, tilted, raised up by 110 mm, and pivot clockwise, LG has also integrated NVIDIA G-SYNC with Reflex compatibility. Additionally, the UltraGear 25GR75FG is compatible with the following ports and VESA 100 x 100 mm wall mounts:
  • DisplayPort 1.4, one
  • 2x HDMI 2.0
  • One HP out
  • 1x USB Type-B 3.0 Upstream
  • 2x USB Type-A 3.0 Downstream

The business will introduce the monitor this weekend during the opening of the new LEC season with the intention of beginning sales in Germany in April.
