Is There an SD card Slot in Samsung Galaxy S23?

When it comes to the features that come with current hardware, new smartphone releases appear to be in a constant state of change. Not so long ago, every phone had an SD card slot for additional storage; but, in 2023, the function is uncommon, leading many people to disbelieve that the Samsung Galaxy S23 has one. Prospective buyers must be aware of the internal storage options and whether the S23 can be expanded using a microSD card given how important smartphones are for storing all types of data, whether that's in the form of personal information in notes or apps or the hundreds of pictures in its camera roll. Time to settle the much-debated issue of whether the Samsung Galaxy S23 has an SD card slot. 7 things the Galaxy S23 absolutely needs (to succeed) - PhoneArena Photo Credit: PhoneArena In a nutshell, the Galaxy S23 does not support microSD cards. In actuality, none of the S23 line's models include this feature, therefore neither the Galaxy S23 Plus nor the Galaxy S23 Ultra offers it either. There is no SD card slot on the Galaxy S23 Regrettably, Samsung is not at all surprised by this. The Galaxy S20 was the final model in the Galaxy S range to feature SD card slots. Samsung removed the feature from the S21, left it out of the S22, and has once more made the S23 version of the feature AWOL. Samsung did incorporate an SD card slot on the Galaxy S21 FE, but that doesn't seem to be a harbinger of things to come going forward. Although an external SD card cannot be used to increase the smartphone's storage, the S23 does provide a larger storage choice for Galaxy aficionados. Similar to the base Galaxy S22 before it, prospective purchasers can choose the S23 with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Also, the S23 Plus and S23 Ultra come standard with 256GB of storage, which is twice as much space as what was offered by the S22 Plus and S22 Ultra. 256GB is the standard storage option whether you choose the S23 Plus or S23 Ultra. Because 256GB is a respectable amount of storage, adding more space with a microSD card seems quite unnecessary. However, as long as you're managing it properly and offloading any large files onto a computer or laptop, 256GB should be more than enough space for the majority of users. That space can quickly fill up, especially if you're doing things like capturing a lot of 4K video footage with the S23's excellent lineup of cameras. Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ review | CNN Underscored Photo CrediT: CNN You should check out the other Galaxy S23 models if you require a phone with greater internal storage than 256GB, as the S23 Plus has 512GB of storage and the S23 Ultra has up to 1TB. While it's fine to just purchase a different phone if you need more space, individuals who can only afford the base S23 won't benefit from that advice because the S23 Plus and the S23 Ultra are more expensive. The lack of a microSD slot on the Galaxy S23 is ultimately disappointing. It's hardly shocking that the feature isn't included on Samsung's most recent hardware, though, given that it hasn't been added to recent Galaxy flagships.
