Kim Kardashian tears up as she opens up about co-parenting with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian has provided a very honest look at how her co-parenting arrangement with her ex-husband, Kanye West, is progressing. The 42-year-old star of The Kardashians talked about the incredibly contentious artist and their four kids during a guest appearance on the Angie Martinez IRL program on Monday. Kardashian remarked while she broke down in tears, "Co-parenting is really f---ing hard." For those unaware, following West's on-and-off social media play-by-play of the situation, the former couple, who share daughters North, 9, Chicago, 4, and sons Saint, 6, and Psalm, 3, formalized their highly publicized divorce in November. However, despite what is happening with West, Kardashian maintains that she is doing her best to protect their children from what happens online. That is real, heavy, grownup s--- that they are not ready to deal with. When they are, we will have those conversations. One day, my kids will thank me for not sitting here and bashing their dad. Furthermore, regarding the children's inevitable access to publicly available information on their parents, the SKIMS founder stated, "I am holding on by a thread. I know that I am so close to that not happening, but while it is still that way, I will protect that to the end of the Earth as long as I can."

Kim Kardashian received a monthly child support payment of $200,000 as part of the divorce settlement. Additionally, the Grammy winner will be liable for covering half of the children's security, medical, and educational costs. The ex-spouses refused to pay any spousal support. I hear what is being talked about." However, at the end of the day, the Hulu actress said she had no choice but to put on a pleasant face for the sake of her children. In addition, she constantly tries to remain zen through difficult times and feels "free" of other people's opinions these days. She revealed, “If we are riding to school, and they want to listen to their dad's music — no matter what we are going through — I have to have that smile on my face and blast his music and sing along with my kids. [I can] act like nothing is wrong and as soon as I drop them off, I can have a good cry."
