On the well-known Channel 10 dating show, Laura Byrne shared the strangest encounter she ever had with her ex-boyfriend of six years before meeting Matthew Johnson. The 36-year-old woman said to broadcaster Andrew Bucklow, "My ex-boyfriend for many years ago used to always say I want to have sex with all of you." After giving birth to her first child, Marie-Mae, Laura admitted it was difficult to remain intimate with her spouse, saying the "idea of having sex would make me want to cry." She remarked in January 2020, "The doctors tell you that you'll be ready to have sex at the six-week mark... but I was not ready." I was so exhausted that just thinking about having sex made me want to cry. We engaged in sexual activity at around eight weeks. I was anticipating it to be horrifying because I had numerous stitches. Later, in February 2021, the couple gave birth to a daughter named Lola Ellis Johnson. The two's love story, however, nearly didn't materialize because, as Laura revealed on news.com.au's podcast, she had second thoughts and canceled the show just before it was set to premiere.
