The blade was one of the most eagerly awaited Marvel Studios films in a while, but its hype train has hit a bump. The adaptation of Marvel's well-known vampire hunter for the MCU recently lost its director, which caused a delay as Marvel Studios tried to restructure the project. Due to production problems and the need to find a new director, Blade's release date has been postponed from November 2023 to September 2024. There hasn't been any discussion of the vacant directorship since Bassam Tariq quit the movie. Fans believed Michael Giacchino would be a fantastic choice after his success with Marvel Studios' Werewolf By Night, but the composer-turned-director claimed he would respond "no" if pressed.   Marvel Blade Reboot Director May Have Just Been Revealed (Rumor) Mahershala Ali, the actor in Blade, is consequently waiting for the movie to pick up where it left off while the director's chair is noticeably empty. Well, a fresh rumor suggests that Ali and the company might not have to wait for long. Hill says that while she cannot confirm this information with absolute certainty, she has heard enough to report on it. It might just mean that Bratton is on a shortlist with a few other filmmakers, but in some manner, the director is now involved in talks for the Blade, according to her, or it could indicate that a statement confirming the information is imminent. Marvel Blade Reboot Director May Have Just Been Revealed (Rumor) Some people might be surprised to learn that Marvel Studios is in discussions with Elegance Bretton to work on a project similar to Blade. One would expect the studio would hire a reputable individual to sort out the situation and release the movie after it appeared that the project had become disorganized. Disney had previously handled it in that manner. Sam Raimi, a stalwart of the horror genre, was brought in by the studio to pick up the pieces after Scott Derrickson left Multiverse of Madness. With its unique circumstance, Solo: A Star Wars Story followed a similar path. Ron Howard was hired as the film's director after Phil Lord and Christopher Miller left the project. But for a job like this, Bretton might be the best option. Mahershala Ali, the star of Blade, is said to have been "extremely upset" with the MCU movie's direction, thus a new director like Bretton would be helpful in this situation.24.
