In a shocking new book, Meghan Markle's former staff claim she was a "narcissistic psychopath." And that she was planning her royal departure from the beginning.
According to a report in The Sun citing excerpts from the explosive book "Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown," sources told author Valentine Low that staff workers coined this term for the Duchess of Sussex.
The book also describes Prince Harry (who left his role as heir to the throne in 2020) and Meghan Markle's allegedly offensive behavior.
Furthermore, a former staff member quotes in the book, "Everyone knew that her happiness would judge the institution. The mistake they made was thinking that she wanted to be happy. She wanted to be rejected because she was obsessed with that narrative from day one."
Shockingly, the staff members went as far as allegedly claiming that the Sussexes "played" them.
On another note, according to The Post, Meghan Markle pitched a Netflix project in 2018, when she was still a working royal, at that time. On the other hand, Harry said they didn't consider collaborating with the streaming service until after they finished their royal duties.
Last but not least, according to the book, working for the couple was so miserable that some staffers began to call themselves the "Sussex Survivors Club."
