Microsoft Teams is a communication platform on Microsoft. It is a part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Thus, users either downloaded it from the web or it came with the rest of the Microsoft 365 apps. However, as per a roadmap update from the company, Microsoft Teams will soon be available for download in Microsoft Store.

Moreover, the update states that Microsoft Teams will soon be available on Windows 10 and 11 next month. On the one hand, Windows 10 version will be compatible with personal, work, and school accounts. On the other hand, Windows 11 version will only be for work and school accounts. Interestingly, Windows 11 already consists of a built-in Microsoft Teams version. Additionally, it supports personal accounts, allowing users to chat with friends and family, but not as an alternative to Slack.
