The Mother Bracelet is a revolutionary wearable device that precisely monitors fitness, health, and sleep while operating quietly. Created for MEDIROM Healthcare Technologies Inc. in collaboration with Matrix Industries, it utilizes Matrix Industries’ exclusive thermoelectric technology. The Mother Bracelet is completely powered by body heat or solar energy, ruling out the need for chargers. It consistently charges as the wearer moves or exposes the bracelet to sunlight.
Ponti Design Studio was responsible for the product design, branding, and packaging. The Mother Bracelet flaunts a sleek unibody case made of anodized aluminum. It is manufactured with precision using CNC machining, leading to minute details, lightweight construction, and excellent durability. The top glass safeguards a custom-made solar panel and a user-friendly LED interface. The display was intentionally excluded to deliver a quieter and less intrusive monitoring experience.
The bracelet can be controlled easily using the side button or through the wearer’s phone. The modern speckled black or white silicone strap is quite simple to adjust and comfortable for both indoor and outdoor use. The packaging is sophisticated, consisting of a cylindrical box protected by a metal ring with the logo. Inside, it consists of the bracelet, accessories, and a user guide. The branding is minimal, focusing on the experience and utility rather than the product itself.
