OnePlus Nord N20 5G

OnePlus launched the Nord N20 5G back in April on T-Mobile. However, the exclusivity of this mid-range smartphone has finally run out. According to some reports, the N20 5G is now available in unlocked form in the US.

Furthermore, interested customers can buy the unlocked version of the Nord N20 5G from the company or Best Buy. Additionally, reports state that users would be able to purchase the mid-ranger from Amazon as well soon.

Moreover, the news is a welcome one for many customers who favor mid-range smartphones. The reason is that the mid-range handset space in the US is not as well established as compared to other countries. That is, popular mid-ranger brands like Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco, Realme, etc., are missing in the country. Thus, OnePlus decided to establish the mid-range smartphone space and earn profits with the Nord N series. And, now the company will sell the Nord N20 5G in unlocked form.

OnePlus Nord N20 5G

The OnePlus Nord N20 5G sports a 6.43-inch 1080×2400 60 Hz AMOLED touchscreen. In addition, it contains the Snapdragon 695 chipset and triple rear camera system – 64 MP main, 2 MP macro, and 2 MP depth. Besides that, it has a 16 MP selfie camera and a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging capability.

The Nord N20 5G unlocked will cost $299 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. However, the N20 will cont work on Verizon. In addition, if users use it on AT&T, it will support 4G only. But, on T-Mobile and any MVNOs using its network, users can access 5G. So, the unlocked version will be worth the buck in the US going by the specs. But unfortunately, the N20 5G still runs on Android 11. And that’s a bit disappointing when there are smartphones running on Android 12 since last year.
