One of the initial Evnia series gaming monitors from Philips is now available for purchase. It is the Evnia 27M2C5500W. The Evnia 27M2C5500W includes features including 1 ms response times and native outputs at 2.5K and 240 Hz. The Evnia 27M2C5500W, a curved gaming monitor that was shown off alongside three other Evnia series displays in October, has received updated information from Philips. Philips has finally disclosed all of the technical details on the Evnia 27M2C5500W, along with a lower launch price, even though it has been a little cryptic about the monitor's release date. A 27-inch VA panel with a 1000R curvature and a native resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels power the Evnia 27M2C5500W. The panel, according to Philips, also offers 400 cd/m2 peak brightness, 1 ms GtG reaction times, and a typical contrast ratio of 3,000:1. The VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified Evnia 27M2C5500W also has 98.5% NTSC and 119% sRGB color gamut coverage. In order to reduce image tearing, Philips further recommends that the panel use AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and 2 Delta E color deviations (sRGB). The monitor from Philips has HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections, which limits its maximum refresh rate to DisplayPort 1.4 at full resolution. Alternately, when a device is connected to the Evnia 27M2C5500W via one of its two HDMI 2.0 connections, it can output at 2.5K and 144 Hz. Additionally, Philips has added a VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting hole, an adjustable stand, and a USB 3.2 Gen1 hub. By the end of this month, Philips will start selling the Evnia 27M2C5500W for £429.99, which is £30 less than the firm predicted in October. Philips has set the pricing of the monitor in the Eurozone at €459. The store names for the Evnia 27M2C5500W have not been disclosed by the firm; more information about the monitor may be obtained on Philips' website.
