Users will soon be able to mute certain content on Reddit so that it does not appear in their feed.  The report claims that the new "community muting" tool will offer each Redditor more control over how much of their posts are visible to other users. In the upcoming weeks, the internet's front face will initially deploy it on the mobile platform. The function is anticipated to become accessible to desktop users very soon. However, certain posts continue to emerge, making it difficult to just ignore them. Reddit has just added a new function that lets you mute a whole community. You won't get any notifications about the postings and announcements made by the community if you do this. However, if you want peace of mind, it's a terrific method to clean up your disorganized Home Feed. Each user will be able to mute up to 1,000 subreddits thanks to this capability, claims Reddit. According to the Reddit, you won't be prevented from visiting a particular community if you mute it. In other words, you can still respond to any content on the platform by leaving comments or sharing your thoughts online. You can unmute a subreddit in Settings if you decide that it's not the greatest choice. You can also choose how you want to be notified by the community.
