Star Trek captain's chair made by Volkswagen, it can travel about office at 12mph

The manufacturer claims to have created an office chair as a marketing ploy that can travel about the office on its own five wheels and at blisteringly high speeds for a seat, much less one with multiple swivelling wheels, up to 20 kilometres per hour (approximately 12 mph). The manufacturer claims that its interchangeable battery can cover a distance of 12 kilometres, or around 7.5 miles. Standard features include a seatbelt, a horn, and LED headlights.  Even a "trunk" (really, a pocket) with 0.17 cubic feet of room for paperwork and/or a laptop is available. It appears that it began life as a basic hoverboard fastened to an office chair and then developed into something fantastical. Recently, Volkswagen has lied to customers. This time around, the business appears to be very upfront about the fact that it's a one-off marketing gimmick while also stating that "it will be available for test drives at several locations."  That hopefully means Norway's residents will soon be able to demonstrate its capabilities.
