Taylor Swift to soon make her directorial debut with a full-length film from original script

According to Variety, Taylor Swift will be directing her first full-length film from a screenplay she wrote herself. The singer-songwriter has a deal with Oscar-winning production company Searchlight Pictures to helm her own feature-length movie. Searchlight Pictures also produced "The Menu" and "The Shape of Water." The presidents of Searchlight, David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, stated, "Taylor is a once-in-a-generation artist and storyteller. It is a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this exciting and new creative journey."
