With six 2.5 GbE cards, this specialized tiny PC may be set up to function as a firewall or router. These systems have a fanless design, but they also have Alder Lake-U processors that can handle multimedia applications. The port choices on tiny PC models have tended to increase in recent years to accommodate certain needs. For the ultimate HTPC experience, the Asus PN64-E1 from this year offers up to five video outputs, but there are other small PCs that concentrate on networking and have at least six 2.5 GbE connectors. Thanks to the upgrade from Celeron-class CPUs to more potent versions from Intel's Alder Lake-U family, customers can easily configure these devices to function as routers, yet they still provide enough computational power for multimedia operations. The i3-1215U, i5-1235U, and i7-1265U processors are available, and they may be paired with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM through two SO-DIMM ports and up to 2 TB of PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD storage in addition to a 2.5-inch storage drive. The CPU is coupled to a copper heatsink with two copper heat pipes, and the fanless cooling system has aluminum-alloy fins on top of the chassis. To enhance RAM cooling, a second fan can be added to the lower side. The mainboard includes 6x Intel i-225V 2.5 Gb cards and jacks for the networking side. Additionally, users can use the included M.2232 slot to install a Wi-Fi card. Other ports include a TF card slot, two USB-A 3.0 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one USB-C port with DP mode, HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 video outs, and more. The chassis' dimensions are 146 x 145 x 54 mm (5.75 x 5.71 x 2.13 inches), and a VESA socket can be used to mount it quickly. Users can also choose to purchase completely assembled systems that include RAM and storage. It costs $1,196 USD for the i7 variant with 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB NVMe SSD.
