Apple has released WatchOS 9.4, the latest update to its operating system for the Apple Watch. Here’s what you can expect from the new update.
New Features
One of the key new features in WatchOS 9.4 is support for SharePlay, Apple’s new feature that allows users to watch TV shows and movies together in sync over FaceTime. The update also includes new watch faces and improvements to the Wallet app, which now supports more transit systems.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
In addition to the new features, WatchOS 9.4 includes a number of bug fixes and improvements. The update addresses issues with the Apple Music app, resolves a problem with the Stopwatch app, and fixes an issue with unlocking the Apple Watch using a paired iPhone.
Compatibility
WatchOS 9.4 is compatible with all Apple Watch models from Series 3 onwards, as well as with the SE and the latest Series 7 model.
How to Update
To update your Apple Watch to WatchOS 9.4, make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS and then open the Watch app on your iPhone. From there, go to General > Software Update and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.
