WhatsApp Can Be Accessed Across Devices Now

One of the most popular messaging apps in Europe and parts of Asia, WhatsApp, is about to fix a big problem. WABetainfo's sleuths found out that the company plans to release an update that will let you use a second device, such as a second phone or tablet. At the moment, phone users can only link their account to WhatsApp through its web or desktop clients. The name of the new feature is "companion mode." Once it comes out, setting it up will be a lot like setting up WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp on your computer. Instead of entering a number, you'll be able to log in to your existing WhatsApp account by scanning a QR code with your main phone. WhatsApp Once you've done this, all of your chat history will be transferred to the new phone, and you'll be able to talk to your contacts on both phones. Like WhatsApp Web, companion mode is limited to four devices, but a total of five can be linked to a single account. WhatsApp is still testing this feature and has not yet made it a permanent part of the app. When WhatsApp works on more than one device, it will be on par with Apple's iMessage, Telegram, and even Meta's own Messenger service. This feature will be especially helpful for people who need to use more than one device, maybe for work or travel. Over the past year, WhatsApp has also added new features for users, such as the ability to add up to 1,024 people to a group chat and a new feature called Communities. Today, the company added a feature that lets you send yourself messages, just like in Slack and Teams.
