Still, we have a lot of questions (and a lot of doubt) about how well this will actually work, and whether we can expect a smartphone camera sensor to produce acceptable full-resolution 200MP low-light photos. Pixel binning for low-light performance on high-resolution smartphone sensors is likely to be around for a while because the tiny individual pixels would struggle to capture enough data to reproduce colors naturally.
In addition to the 200MP primary camera, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will have 12MP ultrawide and dual 10MP telephoto cameras. Samsung is likely to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
