36 Apps That Needs to Be Deleted Right Now

Thirty-six malicious Play Store apps, when installed, can infect your Android Devices. Therefore, it is advisable to delete them from your smartphone. Security research company Bitdefender has said that 35 malicious Play Store apps with over two million downloads seek to steal users' personal information and show irrelevant ads. The apps come in popular categories like GPS apps, Wallpaper, and photo filters. With thousands of downloads, they use various clever techniques to hide their identification. It is advisable to delete or uninstall these apps if you have downloaded them on your device.

Android Malware Apps

Bitdefender mentioned in a blog post that the malware apps "hide their presence on the device by renaming themselves and changing their icon, then start serving aggressive ads." Although android app ads are uncommon, malicious apps show ads on their own framework, where they can even serve malware to the users. Store Apps

Moreover, some apps may change their names and icons to hide after installation on the device. Bitdefender specifies that the app's GPS location changes its name in the Android Settings making it challenging to find. Your Recently Used apps list might also not show some of these apps running in the background. Check out the Play Store app list you must beware of and uninstall them immediately if you have downloaded them.

Beware of apps requesting too many mobile access permissions like to draw to over other apps. Play Store is a trusted Google app store that prevents malware attacks on all smart devices. However, being vigilant while using new apps is always beneficial as, occasionally, something tries to creep in.
