When your WiFi at home isn't great and keeps disconnecting, it can be really annoying, especially when you're trying to work. But there are ways to fix it without spending more money on any equipment. One quick fix is to use your Android phone as Wi-Fi repeater. Here are a few easy ways to do it:

Method 1: Use Your Android Phone's Built-in WiFi Repeater

Many modern smartphones have a feature that lets you use your phone as a Wireless Network booster. Just turn on your phone's WiFi and the hotspot feature at the same time. This can be done on iPhones, too.

Method 2: Enable WiFi Extender in Developer Options.

If your phone has the feature, but it's disabled by the manufacturer, you can enable it in the Developer Options. To do this, you need to tap the build number in your phone's settings a few times to unlock Developer Options. Then, go to Developer Options, find Networking, and enable the network Coverage Extend Feature. Also Read: How to turn off keyboard vibration on Android

Method 3: Use a WiFi Repeater App.

If the previous methods don't work, you can use third-party apps like "WiFi Repeater." This app works on many Android phones running Android 4.2.2 and higher. You'll need to download and install the app, connect your phone to a wireless network, and use the app to share that network with another device.

Method 4: Use the Net Share App (No Root).

"Net Share" is another app that turns your Android phone into a WiFi repeater. You can use it on Android 6 and newer versions. Install the app on both phones, connect to a WiFi network, and allow the required permissions. Then, you can use your android phone as Wi-Fi Repeater for another device.

Method 5: Use the NetBridge App.

"NetBridge" is a handy app that doesn't require rooting your phone. It works on Android 5.0 and above. Download the app, tap on "Start," and allow the required permissions. You can create a Wireless extender and share it with another device. In summary, these methods allow you to use your old phone to boost your WiFi signal, which can be helpful for basic tasks but might not be suitable for heavy internet use like downloading large files or streaming videos.
