Argentinian Mom allegedly stuffed dead girl, 5, in concrete block to use as bedside table

An Argentinian lady, 27, is accused of stuffing a wooden box with cement, placing her 5-year-old daughter's body inside, and using the box as a bedside table for several months. According to Sky News, after Vanesa Mansilla's husband claimed that he hadn't seen their daughter in a while, police discovered Milagros Nazareth Martin's embalmed body there. According to reports, Mansilla initially informed him that she had given Milagros to social services because of the filthy conditions in their home. She admitted to the police that she didn't know what to do when the girl died and that she was worried about losing her other children, two boys who were 3 and 7 years old. According to the news source, she then put Milagros' body in a bag and threw it in a box that she had filled with cement she had obtained from a building site. According to an investigator, "She utilized the box with the body inside as a bedside table in her bedroom," local news site Telam reported. A tracheostomy and a nasogastric tube were necessary due to the girl's pre-existing illnesses, which led to a respiratory infection that caused her death, according to an autopsy report. According to the investigator, Mansilla had previously admitted her daughter's death to her relatives.
