BeReal, a social media app, ended 2022 as one of the most popular releases on the market. The platform is creating new features for this year to improve the user experience, such as app integration.
BeReal has been developing a new Spotify integration for new functionality. Alessandro Paluzzi, a developer and app analyst, tweeted a confirmation of the news and added that users might disclose what they are listening to when publishing.
According to the reports, the feature will not only work with music but also with Spotify podcasts, automatically identifying the content and placing a link next to the user's BeReal post. "Listen to music or podcasts when you take your BeReal to share it with your pals," the notification would add.

Both the iOS and Android applications for BeReal still don't fully incorporate this feature. However, BeReal users can share songs with their followers via the app once the component is complete.
Although BeReal and Spotify fans may find this feature interesting, it is yet unknown whether it will be made available to the general public or will only be used for testing.
As of right now, the developer has demonstrated where on an Android phone this integration would appear, and it can be found in Settings just below the memories page. Users will be able to link their Spotify accounts with the music option.

How BeReal Succeeds
BeReal, according to the reports, debuted in 2020 as a platform for sharing authentic moments from users' lives. To ensure the material is real, the app will alert users when it's time to take a photo of what they are doing at any time of day. The program doesn't offer any filters or editing choices.
BeReal became one of the market's most popular programs two years after its introduction. The French social media app was named the App Store's 2022 App of the Year by Apple. Other categories focusing on games, arcades, and productivity apps saw a total of 16 apps win.

However, BeReal was praised for its avant-garde approach to the social media experience and was named the iPhone App of the Year. Because of its qualities that can be considered authentic, it was formerly referred to as the anti-Instagram application.
Following the success of the software, several programs copied the features of BeReal. This includes Instagram's Dual Camera and TikTok Now.
