Bookgroove- An Incredible Bookshelf & a Side Table in One

The table appears to be circular at first appearance, but one side has a carving that resembles the letter "J" and may accommodate numerous books. Since they must conform to the shape of the side table's built-in shelf, it is not the most common manner to keep books. Although I'm not always comfortable with having any liquids close to my books, you can put other stuff there, like a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This idea is undoubtedly appealing, and book fans could wish to use it to showcase their favorite books. Well, first, most likely. Deniz Aktay, a designer from Germany, created "Bookgroove" by carving a deep J-shaped groove into one side of a cylindrical wooden side table. This groove is big enough to store about two dozen mid-sized books. Users of Aktay's "Booknest" can cram several volumes into the vertical shelf's almond-shaped entrance much like a squirrel might squeeze food into a tree hole. At the University of Stuttgart, Aktay studied architecture and urban planning before finding his love for furniture design. After working for a while as an architect, he began constructing his own furniture in his spare time and even entered it in a few furniture design competitions. "The more I focused on designing furniture and objects, the more my enthusiasm grew," he writes on his Behance site. He finally turned his enthusiasm into a full-time business, and today he has approximately 100 distinct projects available on Behance.
