This is a confirmation that Apple's mixed-reality headset will be available in a more affordable model, one that won't break the bank merely to enjoy what Cupertino has to offer.

A less expensive version of Apple Vision Pro is anticipated by 2025

Apple is reportedly already working on a second generation of the Vision Pro that will be less expensive and more accessible than the present model, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman's most recent Power On Newsletter. Apple may also do away with the built-in spatial audio speakers from the wearable and require customers to use their AirPods instead to cut costs further. The expert additionally conjectured that it might be referred to as the "Vision One" or the "Apple Vision" alone.

What will the Apple AR/VR headset's lower price bring?

The M2 and R1 CPUs and the dual 4K micro-LED displays are among the top-tier components and features included in the Apple Vision Pro. To reduce the price, the less expensive Vision Pro headset can be available without the premium display and with lower-quality optics. Additionally, Gurman stated that as part of its cost-cutting measures, Apple may decide to use lower-spec CPUs to power the gadget. There were a lot of rumors about the mixed-reality headset that Apple will finally introduce at WWDC 2023, and this one was true because the firm actually delivered. Still, given the unusual form of the device and the benefits it offers, it was totally unexpected from the corporation. The Vision Pro's primary focus on augmented reality is one of its most significant features, especially given its transparent eyewear. The virtual display will be substantially larger than what Macs have to offer thanks to the device's most cutting-edge and crystal-clear display, which will increase when used. Apple's latest wearable boasts interesting and high-end capabilities, but it might not be for everyone, especially given its $3,500 price tag, which is a significant commitment for everyone. Should this new claim prove to be accurate, prospective users who want the same experience but are ready to give up some of its premium features may be able to purchase the Vision Pro in less than two years at a big discount.
