Schoolboy, 12, burnt to death by his own dad with kerosene and a match – because he didn’t do his homework

A DAD was arrested for burning his son of 12 because he didn’t do his homework.

Shaheer Khan, from Karachi, Pakistan, passed away from his injuries two days after father Nazir ignited him after pouring kerosene all over his body.

The savage act may have been conceived to scare the young man into doing his job.

It was also confirmed that by Pakistani police that the suspect was insisting on flying his kite rather than doing his homework.

The angry father ignited a match to end the frightening threat the oil smacked light.

Shaheer was set on fire and his frantic screams caused the mother of his son, Shazia, to rush to help her husband to extinguish the flames by laying blankets on top of their son.

Unfortunately, their efforts did not succeed and the boy passed away from his injuries at the hospital on the 16th of September.

He was severely burned throughout his body.

Shazia has revealed that she is filing an action for her husband who was detained on Monday.

Police officer from the local police force Salim Khan has told Pakistani press that Nazir had demanded that his son to answer questions on his studies.

When the boy was asked “unsatisfactory answers” Nazir threw the fuel on the child’s head, and then lit the match to scare him. This was the act Nazir confessed to police.

He has admitted in the killing and has been given a date for trial set for September 24.

The incident occurred within Karachi’s Orangi Town area of Karachi with an estimated population of three million.

It is considered as Asia’s largest slum, spreading over an area that is equivalent to 4500 Wembley pitches.
