Domino's Buys 800 Chevrolet Bolt EVs To Deliver Pizzas

The pizza business is purchasing EVs after testing deliveries made by robots on the sidewalk. Even if Domino's Pizza isn't your favorite pizza vendor, you have to admire it for its forward-thinking nature. Even if it didn't officially start the first pizza delivery service in 1960, it clearly promoted the concept and has more recently tested autonomous vehicles and sidewalk robots to serve pizza. Before robotic Domino's delivery becomes the norm, at some point, its pizzas might be delivered to you quickly in an electric vehicle. More than 100 Chevrolet Bolts will be arriving at some Domino's stores starting on Monday, according to the firm, and another 700 will follow by the end of 2023. An EV fleet, according to Domino's, not only offers benefits for servicing and maintenance, but it should also make it easier for the business to recruit delivery people without their own vehicles.
