Dorsey's hardware crypto wallet looks like a rock! - See Pics

Jack Dorsey's company Block, formerly Square, is working on a gadget for people to "safely own and manage their Bitcoin." Jesse Dorogusker, Block's hardware lead, recently tweeted a picture showcasing the prototype of this device. And the hardware crypto wallet looks like a rock, albeit a sleek, classy, and trendy rock. Last month, Block revealed that the gadget would include a fingerprint reader and USB-C charging port in a blog post. According to the recently tweeted images, the company has achieved that goal. Moreover, Dorsey quote tweeted Jesse's picture with the caption "rockey." The image shows the various crypto wallet devices, which look like rocks. Consequently, the hardware wallet depicts a highly polished marble or granite with a geometric shape. Lindsey Grossman, Block's head of product and marketing, revealed that they are "prototypes." She further stated that the design is something the company is "experimenting with for the hardware component of the wallet."

Jack announced Block's work on the crypto wallet back in June 2021. Block divulged that the hardware crypto wallet would be a single component in its crypto storage system. In addition, it will come with an accompanying mobile app for smartphones. The company also revealed an analysis of self-recovery tools available if a user loses the wallet or the phone. However, Block has not yet given details regarding if a user loses both. In any case, the company has not yet confirmed when these prototypes will become real. Furthermore, Lindsey's remark about how the company would share "future exploitations" isn't that promising. Conclusively, the hardware crypto wallet still has a long way to become an actual product.
