Due in part to their ability to charge their sizable 5,000mAh batteries at up to 100W, high-end Android smartphones like the OnePlus 11 presently dominate the market. The next generation of smartphones, albeit they will come from the company Realme, may still carry those specifications, said a well-known leaker. Additionally, it is predicted that this will soon make the currently ultra-premium combination of 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage more accessible to more users.
With the exception of mid-range special editions like the GT Neo5 SE, 100W charging is still primarily reserved for flagship smartphones (which is not all that surprising given that its manufacturer Realme has access to 240W technology for its flagships). Although it is the most costly option, the SE may also be bought with 16GB and 1TB of internal storage for the equivalent of US$380 (in China).

For the following generation of GT Neo-series handsets, such might not be the case, according to the tipper Digital Chat Station. They might be among the first to adopt 16GB the standard RAM specification instead of 8GB or even 12GB for lower models.

That might cause other once ultra-premium specifications to follow suit, lowering the price of smartphones like the OnePlus 11 or perhaps the Xiaomi 13 Ultra tomorrow. However, this rumored shift toward allegedly sub-flagship 1TB handsets would force companies at the top end to extremes, such as more 18GB RAM variants, keeping costs in that tier at least as high as they are currently.
