The AI-powered camera will let users swap bad expressions for good ones.  Shared by 91Mobiles based on information from leaker Kamila Wojciechowska, this recently leaked promotional video highlights the Pixel 8's fresh AI incorporations, particularly spotlighting Magic Editor. Google previously revealed this feature would be available on "specific" Pixel devices during its I/O presentation in May. Similar to Magic Eraser, Magic Editor employs AI to modify images according to your preferences, offering a simpler alternative to traditional photo editing methods. The Google Pixel 8 lineups, which are slated to be launched on 4 October, have already been briefly demonstrated by the US tech giant, which usually teases its devices before the official launch date. The brief promotional video, posted by trustworthy tipster Kamila Wojciechowska, reveals Pixel 8 users modifying their facial expressions with a tap.. “Reimagine an image with Magic Editor from Google Photos,” the video states. “It’ll make you wonder, can a phone be made of magic? Nope, it’s AI.” [caption id="attachment_194246" align="aligncenter" width="1280"]google-pixel-8-series Image credit : Google[/caption] The final modified video caused a lot of excitement among Pixel users on social media, whereas some device owners were suspicious of the camera’s ability.  “I am sold on the Pixel 8 series,” one user of X, formerly Twitter, posted. “The head swap kinda creepy though.” Just like the iPhone 15 lineups, Google is likely to lay stress on the phone’s camera, as multiple leaks have hinted that the Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro are likely to employ a 50 megapixel main camera, along with a 10.5 megapixel front camera. The Pixel 8 Pro is set to incorporate an extra rear camera providing telephoto functionalities with a 5x optical zoom capability.
