A teenage girl was attacked on a bus in what looks to be a horrifying racially motivated attack. An unidentified 18-year-old was allegedly targeted by Billie Davis, 56, on January 11 in Bloomington, Indiana, US, as she waited for the doors to open at a bus stop. Davis allegedly approached the student and began hitting her in the head. She was later captured on camera grinning. Furthermore, the victim suffered seven stab wounds after she was taken to the hospital. Davis ran away from the crime site, but a witness pursued her and told the police where she was, leading to Davis' arrest and attempted murder charges. According to the police, the incident was totally unprovoked, and video taken on the site shows that the two women did not interact prior to the stabbing. However, it is uncertain if she will also be charged with a hate crime given that authorities claimed Davis attacked the victim for "being Chinese."
