Microsoft has recently unveiled that they inculcate Nvidia's powerful GPUs to upskill their state-of-the-art language model, ChatGPT. However, these NVIDIA GPUs are not the typical gaming graphics processors used for ChatGPT's development, instead, the software firm used thousands of its enterprise-grade graphics processors to aid in the development of the AI. NVIDIA recently turned its hard times around, all thanks to the importance of AI today, and with its renewed emphasis, the company is seeing significant growth with its technology powering applications like ChatGPT. Microsoft had to train ChatGPT on a substantial text sample. As Nvidia's GPUs were used because this task needed a significant amount of computational power. Nidhi Chappell, Microsoft's head of product for Azure said that "One of the things we had learned from research is that the larger the model, the more data you have, and the longer you can train, the better the accuracy of the model is." With its amazing technology to bring the enormous processes required to train Azure and ChatGPT to life, NVIDIA proved to be a potent abettor. After the successful introduction of its technology and the well-known AI, the team began to see the results of its work. For products like Azure and other Microsoft technologies, billions of dollars were spent on developing ChatGPT. NVIDIA was also given a significant chunk of it, especially for its enterprise-grade GPUs. The A100 and H100 models were among the numerous NVIDIA GPUs that contributed to its development. In addition, Microsoft plans to create the next-generation ChatGPT as soon as possible. Microsoft and Nvidia's partnership is just one instance of how tech firms are collaborating to push the limits of artificial intelligence. They are developing AI systems that are capable of increasingly complex jobs, ranging from producing human-like language to operating autonomous vehicles, with the aid of powerful hardware and cutting-edge algorithms. Meanwhile, ChatGPT has already manifested valuable tools for a wide range of applications, from chatbots and customer service to language translation and content creation. Also, by adding Nvidia's GPUs, it will make progress in the field of natural language processing in the future.
