Here's why the "death" of the legendary singer Tina Turner was trending online recently

The legendary singer's "death" was trending on social media recently. Tina Turner fell victim to a scam that led the public to believe she had died, but in reality, she is still alive and well. Additionally, a video was uploaded to YouTube by the Celebrity Biographies channel with the caption: "8 minutes ago! Music Queen Tina Turner dies at the age of 83. The pain is too great." And before many realized it was a fraud, this produced a flood of heartfelt tributes. Furthermore, it turned out that the YouTube account had published additional videos stating that famous people had passed away in order to get views and likes on their page. And among the other A-list celebrities who were the subject of the prank were Whoopi Goldberg, Kate Winslet, and Will Smith. Moreover, on Sunday, January 22, 2023, after the aforementioned YouTube video was posted, word of her "death" quickly spread online. In addition, there was a Facebook page called R.I.P. Tina Turner that read: "At about 11. am ET on Sunday (January 22, 2023,), our beloved singer Tina Turner passed away. Tina Turner was born on November 26, 1939, in Nutbush. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page." Fans were eager to express their love and respect for the legendary singer and to stand up for her when they realized it was a hoax. But when it became clear that the video was a "joke," fans vented their anger on Twitter. One said: "Tina Turner dead hoax. It's horrible! "Ok the Tina Tuner is a hoax, she's not dead," said another relieved admirer. Another concurred: "This says she is not dead. Whew! We still need to check on our sister." And another fan stated: "Tina Turner is not dead. Y'all weird."
