If you are looking for an easy workaround, then this article is for you.  Connect using an auxiliary cable  The most obvious solution to connect a phone to a car stereo is through an aux cable. At one end, the cable will plug into the headphone jack of your android phone, and at the other, it will go into the auxiliary input for your car’s audio system. Now, you can play or pause the songs using your phone. This method is quite simple to set up. Connect to the stereo using the USB on your phone  Similar to Bluetooth, some contemporary car stereos come equipped with a USB port that allows you to link external storage devices. This grants you the ability to access and browse your music collection through the car's audio system. Connecting an Android phone in this manner is straightforward. If the audio system includes a USB cable, you can directly plug in your phone using a suitable adapter. Alternatively, you can locate the USB port on the car stereo unit and connect your Android device to it. To do this, pull down the notification bar and select "Charging this device via USB." Then, switch the "Use USB for" option to "File transfer" (this may vary depending on your Android version and manufacturer). Following this, you'll be able to navigate your Android phone's library on your car's audio system. New Car? Use Bluetooth Most modern contemporary car audio systems equip Bluetooth as an alternative for playing music within a short-range wireless network. To leverage this benefit, start by enabling Bluetooth on the car audio system, ensuring that it is discoverable. You'll need to check your automobile's manual to know how to do this. To pair your Android device with your car audio system, start by accessing the Settings menu on your Android device. Navigate to Device Connection and select Bluetooth, then switch it to the "On" position. Alternatively, you can access this by pulling down the notification shade and performing a long press on the Bluetooth button. Wait for the screen to refresh and show your car audio system as an available device, then tap on it to initiate the pairing process. Connect Using Android Auto [caption id="attachment_192537" align="aligncenter" width="1200"]how-to-use-android-auto Image credit : Cashify[/caption] If you own a more recent Android device and a relatively modern car, then Android Auto can be handy for you. With the Android Auto app you can use some of your phone's features while on the move. To leverage this feature the user needs an Android device with Android 6 Marshmallow or newer version, a compatible car stereo, and a USB cable to connect your phone to your car. Google also offers a wireless version of the Android Auto app, called Android Auto Wireless. You need Android 11 or newer to wirelessly connect your device to the car. Final Resort: FM Transmitter If all the above methods fall flat then FM Transmitter can be the final resort for you. This is a viable option for older vehicles, or if the audio system of your car lacks a USB or Bluetooth option. You can plug the FM transmitter into your phone’s headphone jack, and then you’ll be provided the option to set an FM frequency.  Also read : How to Fix an iPad That Won’t Turn On Choose a frequency on the transmitter that is currently unused by any local radio stations. Then, tune your car's radio to that exact frequency, and you'll be able to listen to your phone's music through the car's audio system.
