- Tap the More button in the Home app.
- Next, click Software Update in the Settings menu.
- You can choose the Update button if Apple has released an update that hasn't been put on your device yet.
- You can also change how Automatic Updates work. It's best to leave this on, as it will make sure you always have the most up-to-date software. You can also find out what version of software your HomePod is running on the Software Update page.
- Keep in mind that software updates may take a while to finish, and your HomePod may not work properly while the update is going on. Your HomePod will have a white light that spins when an update is happening. Make sure to keep your HomePod plugged in while this is happening.
