Idaho murders: Killers' potential 'bruises or cuts’ received at crime scene can lead to their arrest, says expert

Every day that goes by without a suspect in the intriguing case of the Idaho murders deepens the mystery around them. As they slept in their rented home close to campus on November 13, four University of Idaho students were fatally stabbed. Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin were named as the victims. Now that it has been revealed that several of the murdered kids had defense wounds, a specialist has stated that there is a possibility that the killer(s) "may have had some bruises or cuts" on their body. According to reports, retired NYPD sergeant and professor Joseph Giacalone speculate that the victims may have left some wound scars on the murderer while attempting to flee. A reward announcement, according to Giacalone, may aid in solving the crime that has stunned the entire nation. "The concept behind the prize is putting it out originally because you're searching for somebody specific, who came home for the holidays and who might have gotten some bruises or scrapes or other things," he said in an interview with Fox News Digital. At the Thanksgiving dinner, the uncle who doesn't get along with anyone is staring at the young child and muttering, "Something's wrong here. Robbie Johnson, a spokeswoman for the police, defended the officers' choice to withhold a tip reward announcement. Investigators are currently concentrating on the good tips and leads they are receiving, according to Johnson. This comes as an unofficial online rumor has been circulating regarding a "white 2011–2013 Hyundai Elantra" that was allegedly nearby when the killings were committed. According to a Reddit post, the four children may have been murdered by "out-of-towners" who attended a football game between the Idaho Vandals and UC Davis Aggies on November 12. The post read, “The football team from UC Davis would have brought plenty of outsiders from out-of-town, either from California or folks from Idaho or Washington who had ties to Northern California or UC Davis, like former alma mater or people who grew up near Davis/Sacramento…Has there been any local speculation as to that being who might have driven the white Hyundai Elantra and/or murdered the four? It's not like it would take much reconnaissance for an out-of-towner to figure out where frat row in Moscow was located, or what off-campus housing would appear as having all-female residents.” The post added, “...Or if the perpetrator had ties to The University of Idaho in Moscow, maybe he already knew that information and happened to be in town, with the desire to kill. Hell, it's not like murderers don't play sports, either. Dipping into a town for a day or two, knowing you'll be long gone from the area, probably opens up a world of possibilities for the murderous mind.”
