More details

Lesley Lemoine relocated to Kershaw County in 1989, as stated in her obituary. She was called "funny, charismatic," and a "free spirit that loved Jesus and having a good time." According to The Post and Courier, Hannah Gates, Lemoine's 25-year-old daughter, has been posting on social media in an effort to track down her mother. Gates told the newspaper, "They told me VHS tapes were underneath her, so this had not been checked in a really long time. It makes me mad." What's more

Lesley Lemoine was arrested for acting violently when at her mother's house on March 29, 2022, and was later freed from jail. And this was the last time Gates saw her mother. She also claimed that after being freed, she took Lemoine to a McDonald's in Lugoff. In addition, Gates told the newspaper that the two weren't on friendly terms. Moreover, Gates reported her mother missing months after she last saw her because she was accustomed to her homeless mother going missing for extended periods of time.
