iPhone SE4: Flagship Killer and Game-changer For Apple

Some people thought it was Apple's way of making money off old tech, while others thought it was because they wanted a smaller iPhone. On the other hand, the most popular idea is that the iPhone SE is Apple's cheaper alternative to high-end Android phones. The future iPhone SE 4 is likely to continue the trend of using parts from older iPhones. It will look like the iPhone SE 2, which came out in 2020 and was basically an iPhone 8 with a newer chip. This has made the SE lineup seem a bit old compared to the current crop of Android phones in the $400–$500 price range.

iPhone SE4 Specs and Features

But rumors say that the iPhone SE 4 might be the first one to break this trend and offer an exciting upgrade. Leaks suggest that it might have Face ID instead of Touch ID, a USB-C port, a single camera on the back, and the new Action button expected to debut on the iPhone 15 Pro. Some people also think that, like the iPhone 14, it will have an OLED screen. Even though these facts haven't been confirmed, they give an idea of what the iPhone SE 4 might be able to do.  iPhone SE 4 display - 6.1-inch OLED screen that runs at 60Hz and has a notch, just like the iPhone 14. iPhone SE 4 camera - One 12MP camera on the back and one 12MP camera on the front, both of which can record 4K video iPhone SE 4 battery - 3,000 mAh battery, a USB-C port for charging, and support for wireless charging iPhone SE 4 storage and performance - Apple A16 Bionic chip with 6GB RAM and storage choices of 128GB and 256GB iPhone SE 4 pricing - Price starts at $529  Extra iPhone SE 4 features - IP67 protects against dust and water, and the Action button. iPhone SE4 Flagship Killer For Samsung and Google Smart Phones

[caption id="attachment_191395" align="aligncenter" width="1600"]iphone-se-4-modified image credit - macrumors.com[/caption] Apple is coming for Android, and the new and improved iPhone SE 4 may convince even die-hard Android users to make a move. The $400-$600 flagship killers for Android will have enough extra features to draw users who care enough about a 120Hz refresh rate display and an ultra-wide-angle camera. But other than these two features, Android phones in this range of prices will be able to compete with the rumored iPhone SE 4.

iPhone SE 4: A Game-changer for Apple

The iPhone SE 4 could start at $529, according to rumors. This price seems fair since the hardware and style have been updated. It would also make the iPhone SE 4 different from the higher-priced iPhone 15, which is expected to start at $799. If the rumors about the iPhone SE 4's specs and price are true, it could be a game-changer for Apple. It could get people to switch from Android to iPhone who have been thinking about it but think the present models are too expensive.  Even though the iPhone SE 4 is supposed to look like an iPhone 14, Apple could save money in many ways when making the iPhone SE 4. In fact, the new frame, the new screen, and the Face ID sensors might be the only real changes between the iPhone SE 4 and the iPhone SE 3.
  • The iPhone SE 4's camera sensors will likely be older than those in the iPhone 14. Remember that the iPhone SE 3 uses the back camera sensor from the iPhone 8. This means that Apple could use the main camera from the iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, or even the iPhone XS in the iPhone SE 4 and rely on the A16 Bionic chip's advanced image signal processor for better pictures and videos.
  • Apple is likely to try to save as much money as possible on the iPhone SE 4's screen. Cupertino is rumored to be running a bidding process to find the most cost-effective display supplier. As of now, BEO and a company called Tianma are likely to supply the 60Hz OLED panels for the iPhone SE 4. (The latest iPhone 14 series use Samsung and LG panels.)
  • If Apple sticks to its usual schedule and releases the iPhone SE 4 in the spring of 2024, the A16 Bionic chip that is supposed to power it will be two years old. Since Apple's new flagships (the iPhone 14 and 15) don't get the newest and best chip anymore (that's for the Pro models), it's very unlikely that the iPhone SE will either.
So far, Apple has set low standards for the iPhone SE model. This could make the rumored iPhone SE 4 seem like a huge upgrade, but in reality, it looks like it will just be a normal $500 phone with nothing special about it.
