How to find if your smartphone display is made by Samsung?

Step 1: Go to the OLED Era page

Samsung has launched a new page called OLED Era, which is a free service that allows you to check if your smartphone features a display made by the Korean company. To get started, visit the page and click on the area highlighted in red to open up a drop-down menu.

Step 2: Click on OLED Finder

From the drop-down menu, click on OLED Finder to be taken to a new page showing a list of smartphone vendors such as ASUS, OPPO, Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung, and others. Also Read: How to send photos & data from iPhone to iPhone?

Step 4: Check if Your Smartphone Has a Samsung Display

If the model you have selected features a Samsung display, the webpage will display a message telling you so. Samsung will show the name of the smartphone model and a message indicating that it has a Samsung display. source: Trusted Reviews

Apple and Other Smartphone Vendors

Apple is not on the list of smartphone vendors on the OLED Era page, even though it is one of Samsung’s biggest customers. There is also an option titled Others, but unfortunately, you will receive the following message after clicking on it - ‘Sorry. It is difficult to check the model you have searched.’ It is unclear why Apple is not named in the list. However, it is possible that Samsung considers Apple to be its biggest rival in the smartphone market. Hopefully, Samsung will update the list in the future to include Apple, and we will keep our readers informed if and when this happens. Samsung’s new OLED Era page makes it easy for you to check if your smartphone has a display made by the Korean company. By following the simple steps outlined above, you can find out if your smartphone has a Samsung display or not. While Apple is not included in the list of smartphone vendors, we can hope to see it added in the future.
