In the area of generative artificial intelligence (AI), Google showcased a number of new innovations, particularly in the areas of text-to-video and language analysis as well as writing aid.
These were shown on Nov. 2 during the Google AI event, according to VentureBeat.
In order to identify generative AI, the conference also focused on the company's efforts to develop moral AI, with a focus on matters like control and safety.
In a video played to guests, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said that the business is committed to making sure that, like any groundbreaking invention, the technology is created in service of benefiting people.
The event's goal was to rethink how technology may improve people's lives.
Douglas Eck, lead scientist at Google Research and research director for Google's Brain Team, made a number of disclosures on the company's generative AI.
In comparison to DALL-E 2 or Stability AI, they included Google's careful, gradual efforts to disclose its text-to-image AI systems.
Even though it is not yet available to the general public, Google has indicated that it would add a restricted version of Google Imagen to its AI Test Kitchen app to gather early feedback.
In addition, Google has expanded on the study it disclosed last month by releasing the first video produced using its Imagen Video and Phenaki text-to-video research techniques.
Meanwhile, the final product combines the sharp images of Imagen and the text-based video production of Phenaki.
