Los Angeles will be the third city that Waymo, Google's renowned autonomous driving technology, and it's one ride-hailing app will visit following San Francisco and Phoenix.
The business will begin by using its cars with cameras mounted on them to map around the City of Angels, with the One service following later.
In order to map out its streets and soon offer ride-hailing services to the general public, the business will focus on an electric car.
It will be the third site where the firm received a permit to distribute its technology, and Waymo has stated that it is going to Los Angeles to begin a driverless experience for the city.
Since the firm needs to map its streets with camera-mounted automobiles, it won't precisely start offering ride-hailing services right away.
San Francisco, a city in the same state, and Phoenix, a city in Arizona, were the prior locations where the business offered its services.
The current focus will be on mapping LA's streets, as well as the area's well-known freeway and the roads that connect to it.
Despite its difficult experience, Waymo claimed that it can manage freeways using its technology.
