The Dragon Knight G7 is now available from Samsung in China for CNY 4,999 (or roughly $717). The Dragon Knight G7 boasts a 32-inch IPS screen that outputs at 4K, 144 Hz, 400 nits, meets current image tearing reduction standards, and shares design characteristics with Samsung's Odyssey gaming monitor series.
In China, where it looks to be an exclusive for the time being, Samsung has launched a new gaming monitor. The game monitor, marketed as the Dragon Knight G7, is similar to the Odyssey series that it offers in other regions. Consequently, the Dragon Knight G7 might offer a sneak peek at what Samsung has in store for a future 32-inch Odyssey monitor.

The Dragon Knight G7 utilizes a 32-inch IPS display that outputs at UHD/4K, as seen in the image below (3,840 x 2,160). Furthermore, according to Samsung, the panel has a 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage rate, 1 ms reaction times (GtG), a 144 Hz refresh rate, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, which guarantees a minimum peak brightness of 400 nits. For reducing image tearing with AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards, the Dragon Knight G7 supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC as well.
The Dragon Knight G7 also uses Tizen OS, has an adjustable stand, and offers HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4 for video output. The Dragon Knight G7 is offered by Samsung for CNY 4,999, or around $717. Although there has been no indication of a global release, it wouldn't surprise us if the Dragon Knight G7 appeared with the Odyssey branding at the CES 2023 convention the following month.
