Nightmare Fuel: Google Meet's New Video Filters

Many businesses choose Google Meet as their preferred remote meeting tool since it allows you to dress up sessions with backdrops and filters to make them more entertaining. But with these new filters, the line between funny and spooky is fuzzier. A few new filters have been added to Google Meet in order to "help bring a sense of fun to sessions." The one where you put your face inside a log is genuinely goofy and entertaining. A working rabbit is also present, and while it doesn't appear too horrible, the strawberry bunny is very unsettling. Similar to filters on Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok, it gives off a similar mood, yet there's something odd about it. It's as though that strawberry will kidnap you at night. Samsung Smart TVs now support the Google Meet UI Upgrade By heading to the "Apply visual effects" area, you can use these filters in the same way that you can currently use all other filters. Within the next 15 days, everyone should be able to use these new filters if they'd like to. For work and school accounts, administrators can turn them off, so it's possible that someone in your IT department will choose to keep them hidden away indefinitely. However, if you choose to utilize the strawberry flavor, we cannot promise that you won't permanently scar your coworkers.
