Nothing Phone 1 moves closer to receiving a stable Android 13 update

Nothing has been working for some time on a stable Android 13 update for the Nothing Phone 1. The phone had already received two Open Beta builds from the company. Within a week of the release of the second beta, the company began seeding a new beta. Instead of a final release, the new build is being distributed as a hotfix. Nothing is trying to deliver a brand new beta build to beta testers. The new release's internal build number is TKQ1.220915.002/1673708663, which is slightly new than the OB2's build tag. The update corrects some UI flaws, like the amount of RAM inaccurately displayed as 11GB on the 12GB variant. The global and European firmware packages have now been unified since Nothing OS 1.5.1, e.g. the second Open Beta. As a result, you only need one update package to support each regional build of Nothing OS. This will greatly simplify the OTA process flow, particularly after the phone's debut in the United States. You can manually install the new build on your phone by going to our Nothing OS update tracker. As is customary with such updates, the rollout may be held so that it may take a few days.
