OnePoll Survey Revealed the top 10 Favorite "movies" of Americans in 2022

One in five Americans believes that the highest-grossing movie of 2022 was also the best. OnePoll recently interviewed 2,000 people, and the results showed that 19% of them chose "Top Gun: Maverick" as one of their favorite movies of the year, making it the most popular option. Furthermore, when compared to the other movies on OnePoll's Best-Of list, only "Enola Holmes 2," starring Millie Bobby Brown as the titular Enola and Henry Cavill as her more famous brother, Sherlock Holmes, made the top ten. The list also included eagerly awaited sequels like "Jurassic World: Dominion" (17%) and Marvel's "Thor: Love and Thunder" (15%),  as well as critically praised movies like "The Whale" (11%), and new cult classics like "Bodies Bodies Bodies" (11%). And while "Top Gun: Maverick" had the best ratings overall, other films, such as "Where the Crawdads Sing," received significantly greater percentages of favorable reviews relative to the number of respondents who watched. Furthermore, other films, such as "Where the Crawdads Sing" (61%) and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" (58%), received more overwhelmingly favorable reviews from viewers. Even still, "Top Gun: Maverick" stood out as one of the top ten movies of 2022 and the one that received the most "thumbs up" from survey participants. Moreover, not one to take his success for granted, Cruise recently shared a video on social media in which he thanked everyone for "coming out to the theaters" and cheering for "Top Gun: Maverick." And this was followed by Cruise giving "Mission Impossible" director Chris McQuarrie a fist bump and free-falling from an airplane.
