Redfall's PC system requirements were disclosed by Arkane. An Intel Core i5-8400 processor, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, AMD Radeon RX 580 graphics card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, 16 GB of RAM, and 100 GB of storage space are the minimum specifications required. All platforms will be able to play the game starting on May 2.
Redfall received a lot of criticism for not having a 60 FPS setting at launch on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X, which was justified. Even if the feature won't be available until a later software update, making gamers play at 30 frames per second in 2023 is just about intolerable.

However, since its equipment requirements have been made public, PC users may fare better. Redfall doesn't seem to be nearly as taxing as many of the AAA games that were launched this year, in contrast. It has fairly lax minimum CPU and graphics card requirements:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600/Intel Core i5-8400
- AMD Radeon RX 580/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card
- 16 GB of memory
To run Redfall on a PC, Arkane suggests the following specifications:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X/Intel Core i7-9700
- AMD Radeon RX 5700/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card
- 16 GB of memory
Surprisingly few requirements exist for the "Ultra" experience, and these include:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X/Intel Core i7-9700K
- AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card
- 32 GB of memory

Redfall needs at least 100 GB of storage, which is what is required these days. The fact that it doesn't require 156 GB like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is consoling. A bit of a red flag is raised by Arkane's failure to include a target resolution/framerate for each setup, especially in a time when subpar PC ports are the norm rather than the exception. However, compared to some games like Hogwarts Legacy, Forspoken, and The Last of Us Part 1, its requirements aren't as onerous.
