However, just two weeks after the Galaxy S23 series announcement, Samsung has already begun the One UI 5.1 rollout. Users of most Galaxy phones launched in 2021 and 2022, including mid-range Galaxy A52/A53 and A72/A73 handsets, can expect to receive the One UI 5.1 update from Samsung. Even some mid-range and flagship phones that were launched in 2019 and 2020 may eventually get One UI 5.1, even if they have already received their last major Android upgrade. The One UI 5.1 update brings new and improved features to the devices, such as updated notifications and quick settings panel, an updated task switcher, and enhanced home screen customization options. It also includes support for Google’s Material You design, which allows for more customization options. The One UI 5.1 update will also bring a new app permission manager, which will allow users to have better control over the data they share with apps, as well as new accessibility features like Eye Comfort Shield, which reduces blue light emissions, and Sound Amplifier, which amplifies sound for users with hearing difficulties. Overall, the One UI 5.1 update is an excellent gift from Samsung to over 100 million Galaxy users worldwide, and it is sure to make their Valentine's Day even more special. The update is also a testament to Samsung's commitment to providing its customers with the latest software updates and features as soon as possible.
